so bare that an unhealthy Rising justified bringing in Brewer.
I'd argue that another 2 seasons of 3000-yard passing would show that. To the OP, I think Rising has played so well it has really kept KW at bay.
IMO Huntley's amazing SR year convinced KW that he needed Sr QBs, next year will be the first year out of 4 where KW and crew don't pursue that strategy to start a season.
Careful, admitting KW has or is evolving it implies a prior weakness.
