It changes everything. If you have a strong work ethic and care about the
people you work with, work can be very enjoyable when you don’t have to. If not, you take a job you enjoy elsewhere or go do volunteer work somewhere. The only thing I don’t like is the ball and chain of 40 hours a week, but without it I would get bored.
When your kids leave it feels like you have plenty of time to do almost anything you want with the 60 hours a week you aren’t sleeping or working.
