I hadn't heard of it before today. I viewed it through the lens of a matriarch who left the old, troubled world to a new
country and had difficulty coping with the blessings her new home afforded. The fact that this was set in Colombia in a magical realist world a la Gabriel Garcia Marquez was enchanting.

And again, I love the way Lin Manuel Miranda is able to progress a story through music. He is currently unequaled.

Loved it. Not as much as Coco, but more than most other recent offerings.
