The focus on Kate and her background is fun. She isn’t forced as a born superhero. They show her growth. How she got there and her inability at times. Total plus I think she’s a great actor. I loved the Bumblebee Movie. Thought it was so much than everything but the first film.

The bad guys are not just bad guys which is great. Yes you have the over the top tracksuit mafia which I think is very funny. The pizza dog. Nice nod to the comics as I understand it.

Barton is great as he deals with PTSD and yet they make the if humorous for the audience. From the silly larping to the broadway show it represents so much of what we see or would imagine people would do. But the show is also at street level. We don’t have cosmic characters.

So for me I really enjoyed this so far. It’s more on the level of Agent Carter another show that didn’t have wide spread appeal but was a lot of fun.
