I did the same and my working theory is that it popped out on the last hit when

Allgeier was facing backwards but he kept pushing forward so the defense kept attention on him. It went backwards like 2 yards. Holker was the only one who saw the ball fall out and by the time anyone realized it, cameraman included, he was 10 yards downfield.
