Women, men, soccer, volleyball, football, etc. He has been there for all of them exuding support and joy. I really hope he can feel the same support eventually from us.

As a mom, I'm guessing there may be other things going on in his life and last night's game was just the part of it we saw, but yes, a big part. He seems like a great kid and I hope he does feel our love and gratitude for leaving his loved ones to come here. I also hope that things get much better for him and very soon. This is a rough time in the semester for all students. I was never a student athlete so can only imagine the pressure of handling school and sport.
