That’s true, there’s some room if there’s a blowout. But other teams don’t even drop with a normal loss
That same year Wisconsin lost the BIG Championship game to Ohio State and dropped from 8 all the way to 8.
Baylor lost the Big 12 championship game and dropped from 7 all the way to 7.
