Knight has always been a high volume low PER guy. He is 3 for his last 22 from downtown between BYU and San Jose State. After 4 games he transferred out of SJSU because he didn't like the culture there while shooting poor and losing. Makes a quick pit stop at LSU and bails. Now instead of realizing his TEAM is undefeated and may be ranked in the Top 15...instead is posting cryptic messages on twitter?

Knight is still averaging more minutes than a much more efficient Johnson. You can make the case it is Knell who deserves more minutes not Knight. Knight is under 10% from downtown and shooting 42% from the line. These are the type of potential cancers that hurt teams. I have watched basketball my entire life and was a season ticket holder at the Kennel for years.

Having said all this...this could be the best BYU team ever. A true Final 4 contender.

Knight needs to fit a role as a defensive stopper on the perimeter adding the length needed after losing to UCLA. He has never been a shooter. Johnson and Knell have proven themselves as shooters. If I were Knight I would have got back to Provo and asked for the keys to the gym and spent the next 6 hours shooting. Ok maybe wait till Monday if Sunday is a no go!

Your team is losing quite a bit after this year. Barcello and Lucas will be huge losses. Now is your time. Play the best players. Knight needs to perform. In college basketball coaches have to make the tough calls. Reducing Knights minutes was an easy call. Looking forward to seeing if he can have a great work ethic.
