The D essentially gave up 1 TD in the first 5 possessions for USC.
1st posession- FG - Holding USC to a FG on a drive that starts at your own 35 is a win for the D.
2nd - Punt

4th - TD
5th - Punt
Yet CB was still complaining about Tuiaki the entire first half.
It is nuts.
Contrast that to Utah vs USC 1st half.
