I've never seen a coach play so many combinations of players, and sub guys in and out so frequently.

IMO, this is especially hard on shooters (like Knell) who need consistent, predictable minutes in order to feel the game flow and find a rhythm. It's asking a lot of players to come off the cold bench at sporadic times and perform at a high level.

I understand that coaches generally play a lot of guys in the early season, trying to discover the best formula for conference and post-season play. I thought that's what Pope was doing last year in Nev/Dec, but the rotations never really tightened up later on.

I hope Pope will tighten the rotations this year and let the core group gel and find rhythm together.

Having said all that... Pope is amazing and is an elite coach. So maybe I should just shut up. 🙂
