A friend recently passed away. Go fund me was set up to help with expenses. I happen to know full well that this person's employer pays for a very robust life insurance policy. The individual had no dependents. Wasn't ever married. I can't help but think this is a money grab by the family. Maybe I am terrible for assuming but it feels unnecessary.
