Except when a certain man sees the glow of saidar around a certain woman at the end of the episode and it has to be clumsily explained by the “book expert” producer, despite the claim that they absolutely thought through every change they made. I really want to like this series, I really really do, but they keep making decisions that are clearly following the JJ Abrams school of thought. IE “who cares if it makes sense, it’ll look cool!”
