when my kids were younger and we would go to say Walmart or somewhere they wanted to look at different things, I told them sounds good. But when I am ready to go, I whistle, the loud one, and it was their sign to come up front as I was leaving.
People look at me, and I tell them watch for a minute, next thing you see 3 kids come up. They would start laughing, told them I am not chasing down my kids.
Got married a 2nd time and now those kids know the same thing.
2 kids in the band and at their performance you can watch them and when I whistle you see them flinch just a little as they know that is me.
For my wife, I do the wolf whistle, she knows it is for her. Not in the store to get her to come, but if we are somewhere and I see her. I will do the whistle and she looks up and smiles.
