According to the PAC 12, they have these phantom national championships.
From their website.....
"Below are Pac-12 members recognized as national champions by various "major selectors" listed in the official NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision Records."
From various "major selectors"? So if Corny Duffmeister, AP Writer and Voter from Seattle, declares Washington as the NCAA Champs in 1984, then we will put that in their record books?
