(mostly Jazz fans), actually look at us Suns fans the same way us BYU fans look at Ute fans.
While the Jazz have been consistently good for the last 3+ decades, the Suns have been quite terrible for most of the past decade up until Chris Paul showed up.
But the reactions of many Suns fans here, acting like they are a really great team (which they have been last year and this year), after years of being one of the worst in the NBA, is viewed in the same way that Ute fans have acted after decades of being mediocre in the the WAC/MWC, but suddenly feeling really good being in the PAC12 and going on a 9 game win streak against BYU. A few good wins against Oregon and USC, a few Pac12 south division championships, and rankings in the CFP poll, and many ute fans act like they are some awesome big time program.
And my guess is that many Jazz fans here see Suns fans the exact same way.
A little humility and recognition that the Suns haven't really done anything yet, could go a long way to changing that perception.
