Can someone explain to me why Bama beating UGA helps us? Doesn't that all but guarantee Cincy gets pushed out of the playoff, and therefore takes one more of the At-Large spots reserved for the highest ranked G5? As things currently stand, the playoff spot counts as that spot, so it opens up the At-Large bid, correct? Not for us, as things currently stand, but none the less. How does a Bama victory help? Isn't the only hope to have OSU sneak in, and Baylor drop behind us, so that the BIG12 spot opens up, or is that not possible?
