Women's basketball team played Utah in the Huntsman Center and had control for most of the game. They had a 21-point lead at one point and led by 16 after 3 quarters. But Utah owned the 4th quarter and cut BYU's lead to a single possession at one point. BYU hit some FTs down the stretch to secure a 5-point win.

In volleyball, in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament, held in the fieldhouse on the BYU campus, Utah took the 1st set. BYU looked completely outclassed in that set. But they came back to win the next 3 sets, each one by 3 points or less.

Utah never goes down easily against BYU.

Very happy the ladies pulled out both victories. Those wins, coupled with the men's bb victory over Missouri State in Springfield, makes this another Super BYU Saturday. Hopefully, the weekend karma will extend to Monday, and the women's soccer team can beat Florida State and bring home a natty.
