They specifically give extra weight to conference championships. Hard part is that the weight that they give to that criteria seems to vary wildly.

I don't think Utah should be ahead of BYU (just behind in my mind), but that's the argument to put them ahead if the committee wants. Still don't think it's likely, but with the dismantling of Oregon, there's an outside chance
