Where I see the NIL money really getting frustrating is when top programs start
offering big money to existing players to incentivize them to transfer. It’s one thing to invest in unproven talent, but let’s say Texas needs a running back and former walk-on Tyler Allegier is looking amazing. Texas says we can make it worth your while to enter the transfer portal and come over here. At that point the SEC becomes the pro league of college sports and everybody else is the proving ground for kids to work up from.

Not too familiar with how this all works and what the rules are. But is this the future we’re looking at?
