as a head football coach in the long run as they hire good assistants and build a good program and get head coaching experience.

But it would be much better to keep Kalani who now has the head coach experience, good assistants and a good program.

It would be basically starting all over. Probably all new coaches. Lost recruits who might move with Kalani or go elsewhere. Players who might transfer. It would be a costly disaster if Sitake were to leave.

Kalani wants to stay at BYU as do his assistants. So BYU just has to make that happen. It's not that difficult. We've got to upgrade the program in every way as we go into the BIG XII anyway so it's best to just get working on it and get it done.

We need to be better, not just on the same level, than the other conference schools. We want to be a dominate force in the BIG XII. We can be and need to be one of the top programs in the entire country. We have no ceiling, we can be among the best now that we can compete as a member of the BIG XII.

It's going to take money and a lot of effort and the best people we can find to do it. So let's just realize that and get it done.
