Doubt his information is correct. If it is, it's probably because Kalani is just
kicking the tires, not really too interested in the job, which would be a good sign for BYU.
Oregon fans are somewhat delusional in that many of them think they are a blue blood program.
They're not. Since Bellotti left, the pattern has been that Oregon is seen as a stepping stone program for coaches angling for a better job (Kelly, Taggart, & Cristobal all left for better jobs).
