A few days ago, my wife's manager said she might be leaving the company. That was the main reason my wife went to work there, was to be with that manager again. Right after that conversation, a different place called and talked to Mrs Crack about working at a new place. It was different than what she does now, probably a little more difficult, and probably a big pay raise.

But there were some drawbacks like not being as flexible about working from home, setting own schedule, etc.

But Mrs Crack wanted to chat with the new company to see what was available. She had an interview today and liked a lot of what they had to say. I am not sure what she will end up deciding, but as of right now, she wants to stay where she is and realizes the grass isn't always greener on the other side. She also has a new appreciation for how things are run at other places.
