What happens when we discover that the omicron variant is the answer to all our
prayers? It appears to be so mild that the common flu is much worse. It supposedly spreads like wildfire so everyone can get it and we can finally get herd immunity.
From what I have seen the vaccine isn’t preventing the vaccinated from either getting or spreading COVID. It’s only apparent aid is that it drops severity of the disease, which is nice for sure, but it is not stopping anything.
If omicron produces the true resilience against contracting COVID like I had hoped the vaccine would…the omicron variant may actually be in effect like an attenuated vaccine. After further research maybe the CDC will start recommending people with omicron start kissing everyone.
