Vail sucks. They are basically a real estate company that owns properties around
ski resorts. They have no interest in making the skiing experience better it seems. Since Park City fell into the hands of first Tallisker and now Vail the emphasis has been on getting as many bodies on the mountain with the cheapest operating expenses. It’s almost like what happened to 7peaks resorts in Utah.
They don’t pay any of the employees enough and therefore fewer runs are open, fewer runs are groomed, and many of the on slope restaurants aren’t open or running at partial service.
All this despite selling 45% more Epic passes than last year. I have a pass, but I hope the patrol sticks it to them. Vail has it coming to them.
