Falls loosely under option 1: Big 10 poaches big name teams. If that happens, Big 10 poaching UVA, UNC from the ACC there's 4 possible ways it echoes down, 1 of which is good for the Big 12, 2 of which are kind of whatever, 1 of which is bad.
A. The ACC is in turmoil and the Big 12 is able to poach teams like Clemson, Florida St, Miami
B. The ACC is in turmoil and seeing teams like Clemson, Florida St, Miami available, the SEC takes them, getting even bigger and more dominant.
C. The ACC isn't really in turmoil. They still have teams like Clemson, Florida St and Miami after all (plus kind of Notre Dame). They stick with 12 teams (down from 14), no major change needed.
D. The ACC isn't really in turmoil. They still have teams like Clemson, Florida St and Miami after all (plus kind of Notre Dame). They backfill from the local options affiliated with the Big 12 (WVU, Cincy, UCF)
Honestly, of those options, option A seems the LEAST viable to me, but it is a possibility
