Probably not. If it is low and not in your view, you can drive it the way it is
Until you want to buy a new one. Mine has been cracked for maybe a year and not moved much. I just know that after I get a new one, some rock will fly into my windshield and crack it again.

It's kind of a nice feeling driving down the freeway not worrying about rocks hitting my windshield.
