I started a new job this fall, and now work from home 1-2 days a week. At first, everything was going pretty well, but lately, my HCBW has taken to just coming in and hanging out in our office while I work, as long as I'm not on a Zoom call. She doesn't really say anything, she just hangs out on the couch behind me, scrolling on her phone and petting the dog. Sometimes for like 2 hours at a time. I know that she secretly thinks that I don't really ever do anything when I'm work except yuk it up with the guys and go to lunch, and so with her here, I feel like I have to look like I'm crazy busy. I've found that it actually makes my work more productive, but it's definitely impacted my CB production (as well as seriously set me back on my Boom Beach efforts).

Maybe this afternoon I'll fake a long Zoom call to get her out of the room so I can give my detailed thoughts on last night's Gonzaga game. Wish me luck.
