krindorr Intervention Needed
Better options than Michael Thomas that won't require trade compensation; also the Saints are unlikely to trade/cut him
Guys like Allen Robinson, Michael Gallup, Chris Godwin, Mike Williams are all unrestricted free agents.

Or the Jets could trade something of value to the Saints in order to take on a 3 yr, $50M deal for a player who may well be in massive decline.

But even if the Saints wanted to do so, they probably wouldn't. Not because they believe in him, but because they're SO far over the cap as things stand. They currently have -$71M in cap space for next year. Michael Thomas carries a cap hit of $24.7M next year. If they trade/cut him, then his cap hit would be $22.7M. Replacing him with a minimum player would eat up half that difference.
