Typically if the block occurs first, officials will not call a foul.

Think of it as the moment the ball is blocked, it becomes a loose ball and the offensive player is no longer an offensive player so he is creating the contact just as much as the defensive player. I didn’t rewatch it so I don’t know whether this was actually the case.

The body contact was simultaneous to the block
