The prosecutor didn't think he could win the case, but he did accuse Ben of
"boorish" behavior, with the 20 yr old girl at issue (who I believe was drunk).
The NFL saw his behavior fit for a 6 game suspension even though no charges were filed.
And Ben never really disputed it.
ITs very easy to believe that he actually did rape her, and at a minimum it sounds like even the prosecutor believed Ben had taken advantage of the young lady.
