Especially if they'll find a rebuilt tranny for you.
Had a Toyota several years ago. 1st one quoted me 3,000 to replace tranny on car I bought for 5,000.
Went to another one and they installed a rebuilt for 750.00 total.
That transmission lasted until I sold the car 5 years later. I assume it still worked great after that too.
