True. Similar to 2019, when SMC, who was not going dancing with a loss,
upset #1 Gonzaga in the WCC Championship. Everyone acts like a Top 5 team can never be beaten, until it happens.
If a USF or SMC is narrowly on the wrong side of the bubble this year, it would be a big upset but not an unprecedented shock if they upset Gonzaga.
As I said, "Getting 4/10 isn't a big shift, percentage wise, from what has already happened in the past."
Getting 40% in would be an awesome first, but not that different from the 37.5% that got in in 2008 or the 33% that got in in 2012.
We'll see how it shakes out.
