Sorry it did for you. Last season was awesome for me. Bowl games are quite random in how teams perform when they are out of rhythm, players are more or less focused, etc. Other than a playoff game, I will never place much weight on how I rate a season based on a bowl game performance. Many here like to downgrade the U win against 'bama years ago to finish undefeated, because 'bama didn't care. BYU was in a very similar situation, but in a bowl game in a city that the players wanted to be in much less than that 'bama team.
