Two of my sons had it last year for like an hour (one had a fever, so we tested all family members living at home). My son was on a mission and didn't get it at first — even though his two companions had it. Then he goes back to Colombia and briefly visits another missionary that had it and gets it.

Covid seems very random from the experiences of the people I know.
