We have a 2022 chev at work with the bench seat (not a crew cab though). With GMs you cannot select the top tier if you
want the bench seat. It's middle tier and lower. But, you can pick a middle tier and "up-spec" it to get the same features as the up-trim. That's what I did with my 2011 2500HD, I bought the mid trim then added leather, tech package, etc. I retained the bench seat. The only thing I couldn't get was heated seats.
