krindorr Intervention Needed
I agree with that; he has a real shot to be drafted. But it's also not the given some people here seem to think it is

I haven't seen a lot of sources (outside CB) that are actually predicting him to the NFL. There's been some that have said that he has potential to make a big leap (similar to Wilson) and then could be highly drafted, but that's much different than saying he's a near-lock to go to the NFL one way or another.

That's not intended as criticism - just the reality that there are a lot of good QBs out there and that Jaren Hall is older than most of them and with a rough injury history, both of which will influence his draft stock. It's easier to overlook one big injury than an assortment of recurring, nagging injuries. If he has a big year, he could absolutely be drafted and even be drafted high. But there's also a real chance he doesn't get drafted. Which isn't an insult at all.

Here's the kicker for me - Jaren Hall would be 25.44 on 1 September (appx opening day) of his NFL rookie year.

That would make Jaren Hall the 5th oldest QB drafted in the last 50+ years, behind only Chris Weinke, Brandon Weeden, John Beck, and Matt Mauck - none of whom worked out well. As an aside, the only other QB drafted over the age of 25 would be Colt Brennan.

(Data taken from this list http://www.footballperspective.com/do-nfl-teams-properly-value-age-when-drafting-quarterbacks/, which has the ages of every QB drafted 1970-2008 who played a snap. In looking at drafts since then, the only older QB I could find drafted was Brandon Weeden who was 28.88 years on opening day)

That said, maybe I'm underrating his chances - https://www.profootballnetwork.com/2023-nfl-mock-draft-c-j-stroud-bryce-young-headline-seven-first-round-quarterbacks/2/ has him as a 1st rounder - albeit as the 7th QB off the board, which seems pretty aggressive for the 1st round

More importantly, my doubts about his NFL draft potential (age and injury) have nothing to do with his quality as a college quarterback
