IMO reading the synopsis of Rocky… “small-time working class Philadelphia boxer is arbitrarily chosen to take on world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, when his original opponent is injured. … etc
Isn’t the same as immersing yourself into a book and really feeling the characters. The struggle, emotion, as the author intended.
You wouldn’t experience the pain and struggle Rocky felt. The emotion and connection with Mickey or Adrian. And especially the drama of the 14th rd when Rocky got back up.
So honestly… do you feel your wiki plot summaries are “reading a book”
