especially with the "LP3" hype. The fact is, though, that TJ had a great Junior season. Him and Yoeli were pretty much the only 2 bright spots of that season. The surrounding talent/performances around them was just lackluster that year. 3rd best player on that year's team would've been the 9th best player in 2020, and since TJ had the highest expectations for players on the team he ended up getting the brunt of the frustration of a lot of the fans even if it wasn't deserved. I think this mostly came from the "casual" fans that you mention.
