Became a cat person when…
I realized we could leave our cat alone in the house for a week unsupervised with no problem whatsoever. Just leave enough food, water and two litter boxes.
Do that with the dog? He would gorge himself, would eat all the food on the first day, knock over the water, crap everywhere, destroy every last thing in the house, and have a nervous breakdown cuz he’s so flipping needy/insecure.
