About the love at first sight story it is incredible. I even liked having “Somewhere” sung by the prior generation (even though Rita Moreno’s voice doesn’t quite do it justice at her current age). I wish they had had Maria sing “Somewhere” when Tony was dying in her arms however.

There are a lot of genius songs in the show. My vote for most under appreciated is “Officer Krupke” which is genuinely a work of genius imo.
