In 2020, Isaac Rex was pretty much the only TE catching the ball - he had 37
catches. This year, we had Rex and Holker both equally involved, with 32 catches combined. So, about 5 fewer TE receptions in 2021.

Bushman had 47 catches in 2019.

So, yeah, it was down a bit - but in 2021, the WR corps was deep and talented (as deep and talented as BYU has ever had), and Allgeier was one of the best RB's in the country. I would expect if we added a talented TE in 2022, and without Allgeier, then there may be more opportunities for TE this year.
