I’m thinking of buying a Solo Stove for a backyard fire pit. Anybody have one?

I was going to go gas because I don’t like smelling like smoke every time somebody wants to do s’mores, but then I found these claiming they are low-smoke wood fire pits. Do they really work? Any drawbacks? TIA.

My neighbors use it regularly and I never see or smell any smoke. I want to get one of their backpacking stoves

You can also build a low smoke pit yourself. There are several YouTube videos

You mainly get smoke from starting the fire so yes some. But not awful. I get more smelly using my smoker.
