Meh, probably half of 1st round wins are teams not built for a tourney run
And about 1/3 of 1st round losses are teams that look balanced and talented on paper.
The things I like about this year's team: 1) I have never seen a BYU team with more desire to play defense and rebound, and 2) This team hasn't peaked yet. If shots start falling from players not named Alex, you never know what might happen in March.

In this century, BYU has not had a more effective big than Fouss or a stronger offensive rebounding team.
