miles and has about 250 to go. They left the Canary Islands on Dec 12th, and he and his partner have been rowing 24/7 for 45 days in a row on the way to Antigua. They take shifts, 2 hours on, 2 hours off. Constant rowing, no breaks, doing about 60-70 miles per day. They are currently next up to finish, sometime this weekend, coming in 3rd place for pairs. Many teams have already finished, including the quads. There are some soloist rowers out there. Can't imagine how difficult physically and mentally that would be.
They are doing it for Make A Wish.
