We hired a new corporate controller last month, and so far seems like he's full of ego and in particular talks down to my boss a lot.

Today my boss sends out an email to a few of us asking details on recording a stock issuance that was recently made. One of our co-workers responds and answers his question. Then this new controller responds "I agree with what has been said. If you have an intermediate accounting textbook lying around, you should probably think about opening it up."

Not sure if this is just his way of asserting his authority over us since we've all been here longer than him or what, but man, can't stand rude people.
