Allow me to reminisce for a minute….tualatin….They were tough…and mean. Especially to us…everybody in the Portland metro area hates lake Oswego … luckily we had like 7 future D1 players on our team including Heisman Trophy Candidate and NFL QB Drew Stanton…ended up winning like 55-6 or something crazy like that…but I remember coming away with more injuries and bruises playing those guys than anyone else. Took a blatant cheap shot away from the ball by a lineman (I was a safety and RB) who decided to blindside me because I gave him a mean mugging look before the snap … which I thought was pretty standard…but he took it personally. Got us 15 yards so that was good…felt it for like 2 weeks after so can’t necessarily say it was worth it lol.
