As for cooking ... here's a few hacks I've learned
Maybe you know these hacks ... I'd love to learn what hacks you have. The good news is that pretty much all spices are low fodmap ... except Garlic and Onion, which are kind of the two biggies. But if you use garlic-infused olive oil, you get the garlic flavor but not the fodmaps. There are also onion-substitute spices you can find online. I have also found that Trader Joe's has a couple of seasonings I can use ... the Chile Lime Seasoning blend and Everything but the Elote seasoning don't have garlic and onion, so that helps.

Also, smoked paprika is really good and I'll combine that with the Chile Lime sometimes.

It still stinks to not be able to use garlic and onion, but these hacks have helped me in cooking. Things like soy/oyster sauce in Chinese food is pretty safe too, and rice/veggies/potatoes work well. For Mexican food, I'll season with the Chile Lime seasoning and use corn tortillas.
