In order to qualify for BYU’s Athletic Hall of Fame, a person must have a degree, must have earned all-American status, and must have accomplishments after college.
Dennis just graduated, was a CONSENSUS All-American at BYU, played several years of professional football—including being the starting TE on a Super Bowl winning team (caught a TD in the big game), and now works and volunteers. His career stats at BYU are better than either Itula Mili or Chad Lewis, yet we put them on a pedestal.
