Poltergeist
Poltergeist is a good intro to the genre.
I watched my first r-rated horror movie at an 11-year old friend’s birthday party - Wes Craven’s New Nightmare (Nightmare on Elm Street 6)…but don’t do that.
For the 14 year olds I’d do “Drag Me to Hell”. Probably not the younger kids though.
