I wish. Just found out today that a guy at work on a sister team gave notice. One of the few people at work I don’t
actively avoid. I talked to him for a bit and he’s getting a 130% base pay raise moving to a big healthcare company with a director title.
Meanwhile we’re hurting for people but stupid HR won’t let us offer market rates for software engineers because it might make some finance analysts feel bad they don’t get paid as much. HR sucks.
